Cloudy in texture. A healthy, creamy head. Delicious at room tempurature! A rich bouqet of orange rind, maple, cinnamon and nutmeg. For such a complex tasting, bottle conditioned, double-fermented ale it is suprisingly smooth to the tongue. Sweet, spicy, ashy. I think its made by gnomes! drfabulous (1287), Columbia, Missouri, USA

Nose is yeasty and peppery, with a little banana, some coriander and after abit of swirling im sure some apricot comes out as well. Satisfying mouthfeel with a smooth, slightly dry finish. Very drinkable stuff, very nice. Nejhleader (932), Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA

Slightly hazy, orange color with thick whipped cream white head that laced the glass. Aroma is of ginger and light flowery hops. Tastes of grape candy, subdued clove, and alcohol. Slightly sweet on the tongue. Between each taste there was a nice cereal grain flavor on the soft palate. Yum. OldMrCrow (1206), Seattle, Washington, USA

Pours a hazy cider brown with a decent but not huge off-white head ad some floating bits of very small particulate matter. The aroma is just lovely: baked apples, cinnamon, a hint of orange, some barnyard wildness and the bready yeasts. Nice. Very genty
ly spiced and gently sweet at the start of the flavor profile, some citrus peel intertwining with yeasts for an interesting midrange, light hints of orange liquor, and a finish that is dry without being in the least bit aggressively so. Fizzy, refreshing mouthfeel, light and sparkly.
This is a beautifully crafted beer.
