Amazing floral aroma. pours a great head, almost creamy in color. Beautiful, deep golden color when held to a light source. Citrusy tastes that don’t overpower. Crazy finish, with an overall amazing balance.

Here in Quebec we have a beer named "Blonde d’Achouffe" that is a pale imitation of this awesome beer from the Ardennes. If you live in Quebec go to the SAQ an grab the real Chouffe : it will be a very good comparison test to separate a normal beer from an exquisite one :)

I found that this ale goes well with brats & sauerkraut. However, it’s got the right balance of taste and alcohol content to qualify, in my eyes, as a dessert beer.

For such a big alcohol content for a blonde I was amazed at how smooth it was.

Pale yellow w/ sweet malty nose. Pours a big, dense froth, Champagne size bubbles w/ ample residual effers in the glass. Light and fruity w/ a defined bath pearl (corriander) tropshire. Well ballanced with a clean, crisp finish. Overall: I could drink this everyday. Highly recommended.

Bottle... thanks to my brother for this fine treat. Pours with an off white head, let’s off a strong aroma, and has a golden appearance. Wonderful full bodied taste that has a sugar and spice combo. Great beer!
