UPDATED: JAN 23, 2010 Colore arancio scuro, abbastanza velato e nebuloso.Schiuma abbondante e cremosa, ottima persistenza. Aroma fresco e floreale, molto complesso e speziato, note di buccia d’arancia, caramello, zucchero, coriandolo e chiodi di garofano, eccezionali al naso.Il sapore fruttato, molto fresco e deciso. Lungo e dolce il finale.Ottima.

With a spicy, fruity aroma that you will not forget, this beer is refreshing one. Firm head that stays, hazy gold color with nice density. Coriander and fruits with light carbonation give this beer an outstanding palate. Alcohol is well blended, not noticeable. Overall a smooth, pleasant and very much drinkable beer.

Pours a cloudy honey color with a thick two-finger white head. Retention and lacing are excellent. Aroma is very subtle with citrus notes and a faint sugary smell. Taste imparts an understated hint of banana with prominent citrus notes. Coriander is distinctly present. The beer is very refreshing with medium to high carbonation. I would very strongly recommend this beer to anyone.

1 pint 9.4 oz bottle. Pours a hazy pale golden color with a medium white head. It has a very clean fresh aroma along with some spices. It has a wonderful creamy taste,a cereal taste, a lemon & orange citrus taste and tastes of herbs. This beer is absolutely wonderful. I look forward to drinking this one again.

Wonderful beer! Nice head of off white foam. Flavor is of peach, pear, and white wine, followed by a nice malt bite and finishing with some solid hop bitterness and spice. Wonderful!

UPDATED: JAN 31, 2008 75cL green bottle from Florian’s in Auburn. Golden translucent body with an inch or so of white head and small bits of what is presumably yeast floating suspended in the body. Smells hoppy; citrusy and piney. Tastes sweet, citrusy, piney, yeasty, and spicey. Surprisingly refreshing for the abv. Alcohol flavor is only there a little in the aftertaste, but the alcohol warming is there. Light bodied and pleasant, full flavored and well balanced. Fantastic. I’m impressed.

UPDATED: FEB 24, 2006 My bottle poured an orange gold with a frothy white head. It has aroma of geman noble hops, earth, pine, and wood. Flavors mimic the smell with good additions of citrus, namely lemon, and spice. Very dry and refreshing with good carbonation. This beer reminds me a lot of saison dupont with a stronger citrus and spice flavor.

Love the spice! Love the flavor! A great Belgian beer. I wish I could find on tap as buying at a distributor in PA (cases only) can get expensive.

Poured into a snifter. Poured a cloudy, straw yellow, with a slightly orange hue to it. Nice solid white head that hangs out for a while. Great lacing. Aromas are of sweet citrus, honey, tropical fruits, spices, nutmeg, anise, and some yeasty esters. Nice citrus flavor on top, s well as tropical fruits being all over this one. Some nice spices like clove and nutmeg really balance this out. Light mouthfeel, crisp and clean, with a great carbonation level. I think this beer is outstanding. Anything by Chouffe is worthy of a try, but their flagship beer is very delicious.
