22.3.2014. Hazy, yellowish beer with thick white head. Aroma has weissbier-like citrus, banana and yeast. Fruity, fresh. Also taste has citrus and yeast. Palate is quite acidous. Next time in the sun in summer.

Herlig korianderfrøduftende belgiske gjærtoner i nesa. Søt og krydret, alkovarm fyldig og herlig. Dette var godsaker!

Tap in the taverne achouffe. Pours blonde cloudy. Spicy and fruity. Finishes bitter, slightly. Great beer.

Bottle. Odd that I have never rated this as I have had it many times. Appearance is golden with light white head. Aroma is lemon shortbread, banana, and clove. Taste is honey, clove, banana, finishes crisp with a hint of bitterness. Nice belgian ale, very representative of the style.

33cl bottle@home in tulip glass at approx 6 Celscius. Pours hazy amber with a nice off white head which stays on for long. Aroma of hay, grass and bread. Real Belgian complex taste. Fizzy when you get it in your mouth but when that wears off, there is roasted caramell, spiciness and a well balanced taught bitterness to counterpoint a sweetness which is well in check. And it all ends in an aftertaste of malt and hops..as any beer should in my opinion. Never mind the silly gnome label...this is really a first class brew

Gold, very light haze with a random small chunk of sediment or two in suspension. 3/4-inch custard-colored head, frothy, medium coarseness, excellent retention that even remains clinging to the sides of the glass long after the liquid has receded. Aroma is wet/green hay and grass, slightly medicinal/green herbs, a hint of licorice, a touch of light brown sugar pastry. Body is watery and oily-starchy, medium-fine carbonation blanket, creamy/frothy in the mouth with light burn. Flavor is green grass, slight bit of licorice, hint of wormwood, a touch of smooth bitterness in the finish, moderate linger. A touch of nectar sweetness. Overall, a fine BLSA with nothing offensive or too surprising, on the sweet heavier side, definitely distinct from a tripel. Head retention is truly top-notch!
