COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
La Choulette Ambrée is the classic amber version of a French bières de gardes. It has a wonderfully spicy aroma and is fullflavored, but effervescent and refreshing.

bottle .75. dark copper. malty nose, hazelnuts, sweet malts. and bacon. body is medium full. brown malty, musky. one of the better bdg’s I’ve had, not overly sweet or murky. but being no fan of the style, a sample is quite enough for me.

dark orange-amber, hazy. Tan head 1cm thick, fine, moderate-slow decay. Aroma contains blueberry malted milkshake, hint of chocolate, hazelnut. Light-medium body. Flavor: Touch of nutty toffee candy. Touch of tart pickle. Herbal hops and light chlorine. Light dry breadcrust. Not super sweet. Good, surprising tart flavor not apparent in the aroma.

Finale inexistante. Bière très largement surcotée sur ratebeer.... Banalité sans nom.

Bottle 33cl a clear copper amber beer with good head. Nose is on caramel and vegetables. Aroma is on cereals and caramel, with bisuit and brown bread notes, clean and crisp, excellent psicy background, quite complex, peppery and grassy hops. finish is again on brown breas notes with green herb and melattic touch, very nice.

Clear orange golden colour, white head. Metallic aroma, iron, malts. Malty flavour with iron. Light spicy finish, iron, metal, light malts.
Too bad of the iron, otherwise it might’ve been a really nice beer.
