2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 SilkTork (4919) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, WALES - OCT 6, 2007
750ml bottle from CarreFour Normandy. Noticeable sweet crystal malt with faint notes of chocolate. Soft, cardboardy hops detract. Alcohol strength is apparent. It’s drinkable, but there’s not a lot to say for it. Tastes like a East European strong lager. The nice bottle can lead to higher expectations of quality than are delivered.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Hildigöltur (5106) - København, DENMARK - APR 8, 2003
Amber colour. Berries in the aroma. Sweet and dry flavour. Quite uninteresting, but drinkable.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 ThomasE (5176) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 21, 2007
Clear amber colour with a small off white head. Strange earthy, chemical aroma along some fruity sweetness. Sweet, light buttery flavor. Seems infected.
2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Emil (6070) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 22, 2007
Bottle. Amber colour with a medium off-white head. Earthy, old, fruity aroma and a sweet malty, fruity, light alcoholic, sour, earthy taste. Medium body with a light dry finish.
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 7/20 mindtheft (28) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 24, 2003
This beer smells and tastes too much like a cooler for my liking. The head is remarkable, the appearance is nice, however the alcohol presence is too strong. Does not even taste like beer.
2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20 Maria (9631) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAR 1, 2007
33 cl. bottle. Almost mahogany with a weak head. The aroma is malty, very malty and sweet. The flavour is sweet, very sweet and it has notes of a lot of malt and nuts. IMO this is to sticky sweet, partly because it seems it doesn’t have anything else to offer, so I miss a bit of complexity and bitterness.

Not very good. I can't decide what this beer tastes like. It is very confusing. Not very well-balanced.
1.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 fiulijn (12360) - Malmö, DENMARK - MAY 14, 2003
Amber color. Almost stinks. Some malt taste. Worse than La Choulette Blonde.
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20 MiP (12478) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - APR 21, 2009
Bottle, 8%. Weak phenolic aroma, band aid. Nice clear dark chestnut colour. Good stable light brown head. The flavour is also phenolic, and worse than the aroma. Band aid, chemical, strange liquorice. Genuine Choulette quality :/
