A clear brown beer with a small white head. Both the aroma and flavor are malty with notes of roasted malt.

Bottled. Amber colour, small head. Light toffee aroma. Sweet and clean, honeyish with some minerals. The mouthfeel is warming and creamy, and the finish grassy.

(Bottle 75 cl) Pours a clear amber with basically no head. Light aroma of caramel. Sweet, full body with a distinct malty character. Soft, smooth and pleasant without much bitterness. 060706

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Comes as "La Choulette De Printemps". Pours a clear amber golden with a dense, off-white head leaving some lacework. Aroma of fruit, malt and a little caramel. An edge of cardboard. Medium-bodied with unclean, fusty notes. Short, dry finish. 6/3/5/2/11= 2.7 290508

Brownish-amber. Toasty, nutty, caramelly aroma. Thin, light, toasty body. Sweet, bland, lifeless finish. Huge disappointment because some of their other brews are quite good.

75 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden amber with a lacing tan head. Malt dense and towards cognac aroma. Flavour is sweet caramel malt with a light overripe fruit note. Light wineous towards cognac flavour into the finish. Medium dry and fruity finish.6-3-6-3-11=2.9

75 cL bottle, as La choulette de printemps. Pours clear and golden amber with a lacing white head. Light metallic and malty aroma. Flavour is quite metallic and towards a blood note. Ends dry and slight bitter finish. - surprised that this has become an alias.5-4-5-3-11=2.8
