bought in Lille: Aroma is like carmel syrup with a weird funk. pours orangish color with a big white head. Flavors are carmel, yeast, and a leathery note. fairly active palate. liked more the 3 monts. Never tasted a beer like this before. so it gets some intersting points, but its still not a great beer

Bottle from the Dodgy Deli on Cowley Road. Light burnished gold, nice lingering cap of white. Both aroma and flavor are a mix of butter, dried apricot and light berries. While I’m not one to shrink away from a touch of diacetyl now and then, it’s fairly heavy here, making the sweetness feel kind of unpleasant. Still, it has a certain interest. Light palate, yet still somehow a little sticky. Hard to say on this--my bottle might not have been in the best shape.

(Bottle at Taverne St Germain, Paris, 16 Oct) Golden yellow colour with amber notes, very lively, frothy, white head. Fruity and spicy nose with apricots, mandarin and a hint of yeast. Fruity taste with apricots, mandarin and pineapple. Notes of yeast in the spicy, rather dry finish. Very nice balance.

Golden with nice white head. Fruity and sweet with notes of bread, vanilla and alcohol. Flavor is fruity and sour. Citrus hops arise. Acidic. Some spices. Dry dusty palate that finishes sour
