33cl bottle. Pours clear golden with a fine white head & lacings. Nose & taste is: Dusty, fruity, yeasty, barnyard- quite disappointing. Smooth, soft & sticky palate. Overall too sweet & too many off flavors.

Bottle, 7.5%. Hazy golden colour. Very small white head. The flavour is quite sweet, some maltiness with a little cardboard.

33cl bottle. Golden/orange colour with disappering white head. Slightly pale malty nose, some citric hop, good bready malts going onward. Impressive. Good hoppy finish. Excellent blond beer that I will certainly buy again next time I am in France

TBone (12538) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 27, 2007
Bottled (BB 06/2008)
Copper brown color, small creamy white head, lace. Vinegar in the nose with dark fruits and hazelnuts. Crisp carbonation. Not very complex flavor, basicly same elements than in the aroma: nuts, candy sugar, sourish notes. Sweetish aftertaste fades away quickly. Not really interesting blonde.

Oakes (12352) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 6, 2001
Less blond than orangey-copper; has a big, firm, brandyish aroma and body, with some peaches in cream notes.

bu11zeye (11940) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - MAY 18, 2005
(750ml bottle) Pours a clear golden body with a large white head. Mild aroma of yeast and buttery. Flavor of mild yeast, brandy, and coriander. Soft, creamy mouthfeel.

argo0 (11442) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 4, 2004
(75cl, best by May 2004) Small off-white head atop a golden body hazed by yeast particulate. Aroma is herbal, honey, pear, some peat, light vinous. Taste is almost invisible, light malt, perfume, finishing with some peat. Watery light-medium body.

thewolf (11149) - Kolding, DENMARK - MAY 26, 2008
Bottle, bought @ Aakjærs, Esbjerg.
Pours clear golden with a big, frothy, white head. Aroma is malty, sweet with some notes of fruity oranges and brewing cereal. Fine, creamy mouthfeel. Sadly the flavour is marred by a clear vegetable note that overwhelms the notes of yeast and light caramel. Very sweet and not really my thing.

bhensonb (10904) - Woodland, California, USA - JAN 5, 2008
75 cL bottle, BB 4/25/07 (oops). Bready, lightly spicy aroma. Hazy orange tinged golden color with small bits and small bubbles. My pour was nothing like the picture, but being 8 months overdate may account for it. The white head was enthusiastic, but left rapidly. Medium bodied with creamy, slightly fizzy, carbonation. There’s biscuit, some heat down the sides of the throat, something of lush ripe stone fruit in a dry way, light spice, very smooth in the mouth. The finish is more dry than not, with something like citrus lurking around the edges. I could drink this indefinitely.
