Koelschtrinker (7060) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - MAY 17, 2011
11/9/8/8/10/9

Cloudy brown beer, thick white head. Soft creamy and frothy texture. Sweet malt with just a touch of marmite. Soft semi dry finish. Sumptuos!

Bottle - 330ml. Dark amber body with a thick off-white foamy head. its malty/hoppy aroma carries grainy and caramel hints. Alcohol is well hidden. Well balanced taste with grainy and herbal notes. Ends with a decent bittersweet finish. Average product.

Another nice rustic frog biere.. Complex smell of earthy chocolate..nuttiness..treacly rich malt and tinned fruit salad covered in raw alcohol. Good lenghth of flavaz. Nutty burnt caramel..earth and ceral..pretty sweet and syrupy. A bit like a Dubble in texture, minus the soy saue

Bottled. A dark brown coloured beer with a dissipating off-white head. A sweet malty and sugary aroma with a bit of dark chocolate. Lots of licorice in the mouth with astringent bready malts. Sugary again and a little hard work.

Dark copper underneath big brown head. Earthy light chocolate aroma. Dusty chocolate, earthy, bubble gum, gummy worms, dirt and chocolate pudding combine in a crazy combination of flavours.

fiulijn (10438) - Como, ITALY - SEP 30, 2009
The 33cl bottle is 1 year old; it pours a wonderful dark amber color with a huge rocky head; too much carbonation. Caramel aroma, slightly oxidised, nutty and soapy. The body is medium-weak, it has a very simple caramel flavor, low bitterness and light alcohol punch. Too simple.

Bottle. Pours amber brown with a three finger beige head. Nutty roast caramel aroma. Less than med. body with mild carbonation. Quite dry, slightly sour, darkish fruits and treacle. Quite different beer.
