Bottle: Dark maroon body with a thin layer of head. Very fruity aroma with lots of alcohol. Maple/molasses very present as well. Nice. Sugarcane sweetness, with some grape qualities. Maple flavors show up. Black current flavors show up as well. Lots of fruits, and just enough hops to balance it out. Not bad...

Bier de garde del nord della Francia al naso molto fruttata e floreale, poco corposa. Fruttata con un retrogusto amaro leggero.

Apple cider smell noted. The beer tasted like the small of evergreen trees. Very carbonated beer.

Rich aroma of dried fruits, rum, and soy sauce. Creamy on the tongue with a lasting flaovr of fruit syrup reduction, roasted malt, and marmite. Yeasty bite with just a touch of resiny hops. Pretty tasty, but the taste buds get quickly overwhelmed to the point that the beer becomes a little one dimensional.

Love love love this beer!! I’m not sure I would put it in the Christmas Ale or Biere de Garde category to be fair but who cares? It’s terrific. This is a visually stunning brew. The color is reddish with a gorgeous "snowfall" cap on top. Smells beautifully of dark fruits, plums, and anise. The texture is highly carbonated and creamy. Flavor is malty, deep, and complex. Very hard to put down.
