Bottle thanks to SlovakSniper. Ruby pour, pinkish head. Nice raspberry aroma. Taste is a tad sweet, but the finish really helps this beer out a lot, you get the nice dry biere de garde finish. Palate is medium bodied, high carbonation. Good fruit beer.

Bottle. Ruby beer with a pinkish head. Raspberry and yeast aroma with light funk. Nice cherry flavor with yeast, light spice, and light tartness. Medium bodied. Refreshing. Cherry and light spice lingers with yeast and light tartness.

33cl bottle into my Orval glass...The beer pours an ugly murky pink/purple, without much head, light carbonation...The aroma is a really nice sweet candy raspberry, a sweet fruit but lacking a bit in complexity...The taste is let down, light sweet to start with raspberries displaying but then there is a flat, wood, grain alochol finish the ruings it..The feel is light, not easy to drink.
Smells great, but that’s it, a fruit beer not worth drinking.

750ml Bottle: Sweet raspberry aroma. Poured deep orange/red/magenta in color with a small, tan/pink head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Very sparkling. Flavor is medium to heavily sweet. Tastes of raspberries, slight wood, and slight phenols. Light to medium body. Tingly, thin, then dry texture. Average to lively carbonation. Raspberry and slight wood finish is sweet and dry.

Bottle - 330ml. Pours a hazy ruby body with an average pink foamy head. Malty/hoppy aroma with raspberry and candy hints. Fair, well balanced taste dominated by raspberry flavors. Ends with a short bitter/sour finish. Average fruit beer.

(Via trade with SlovakSniper. Only a few bottles left now, Pat!) Translucent, rusty brown with a thick film of head. Sweet candy raspberry aroma. Sweet raspberry flavour. A little malt. There’s something off, or maybe vegetal, that comes in late. Fairly high carbonation. Not terrible, but not my favourite style, either.

Surprenante.

14th February 2009 Hazy red brown beer. Mellow raspberry - not at all tart. A little watery. Okay but just a bit dull. The peach is much better!

Bottle pours hazy copper with an off-white head. Aroma shows raspberry jam, caramel, vanilla, and a touch of funk. Flavor unfortunately did not hold up as well. We figured this bottle to be around 5 or 6 years old. Flat, no acidity, with a touch of cardboard. The nose was nice though. I’ll have to rerate a fresh bottle some time.
