Hazy amber with a slight head, faintest tinge of pink to the whole thing. I could be imagining that. Aroma of raspberry syrup. Flavor was more complex, with lots of toffee accented malts balanced by sweet raspberry. Faint tinge of sourn vinuousness as well. Is that even a word? Doesn’t matter, you get the idea. Touch thin, but not bad overall.

bottle. pours a ruby/brown with pinkish/white head. Artificial raspberry in the aroma. Bit funky. Light, watery, fizzy, highly carbonated, mildly fruity. The raspberry is quite mild, more of a white wine/champagne taste. I went back and forth on this, but overall a letdown. Quite dry.

suprchunk (1065) - Heinsberg, GERMANY - MAR 12, 2012
Cloudy pink-tinged amber color. Sizable pinkish head. Plenty of lacing left behind. Big raspberry aroma, sour raspberry. Smells sort of like a raspberry candy. A little fake. Tastes like malt. Not much in the way of any fruit flavor at all, surprisingly. Watered down, thin. Not very good.

Brown-red. Aroma is tart raspberries. Body is medium-light, bubbly. Flavor is lightly sweet, and rather watery compared to other examples of the style, especially for the abv (if indeed this is really meant to be a framboise). Good, nothing exceptional.

Bottle pours a hazy red/dark brown with a small off white head. Scent of fruit. Taste of berries and sour tarts.

330ml bottle. 05.07.09. It pours a brownish raspberry color with no head. The smell is raspberry sorbet mixed with some brown sugar. The flavor is much like finnish raspberry licorice. It has some herbs/spices including fennel and anise along with some caramel malt and raspberries. Not my cup o tea though.

Nice farmhouse style. Light raspberry flavor which is nice. Slightly sweet and tart. Wonderful barnyard aspect. I swear I taste a faint chocolate in the background. Rustic style. Real beer.

bottle bb 1/19/09 shared at dak’s on 1/2/11...5-6 years old? orange/reddish brown colored pour with a short lived white head. it smells of raspberry jam, malt, brown sugar, a little cardboard-y oxidation and stale graham crackers. the flavor is raspberry up front with nothing behind it leaving it flat and dead. low carbonation doesn’t help bring it back. 6/3/4/2/10
