The aroma is strong peachy and citrus. The color is a slightly hazy orange and it has a fine white head. The flavor is very sweet with strong peach notes - it is hard to tell the beer underneath. It ends on a weird dry note. This is more like a peach soda - if that exists? than beer. The body is somewhat thin.

(Bottle 33 cl) Unclear orangey golden with a rather stable, white head. Very distinct peach aroma. Medium body with notes of fruit, but the fresh peachy notes from the aroma are lost to some indistinct mushy, fruity notes. Unpleasant, phenolic tang. Odd, blackish sediment looking like crushed pepper. 290106

33 cL bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a dense, creamy and light yellowish head. Aroma is almost sticky sweet peachy, quite intense. Sweet initial flavour with a mild spiced and peachy flavour following. Light liqourice like touch into the finish which also shows an aspertam like flatness.

Bottled. Orangeish golden colour with a foamy mediumsized white head that leaves slight lace and lasts for a while. Aroma is peach, some fruity and grassy hops along with some caramel and crystal malts. Flavour is very similar with the maltyness dominating and the hops balancing it up. Mild cardboardyness to be notes, but the bottle has been around for a bit.

Peachy opaque colour. Heavy-handed peach syrup aroma. Spritzy body. Sweet peach flavours are less cloying than the nose hinted, but still cloying. Quite one-dimensional. A lot less beer underneath of this one than the Framboise.

TBone (9433) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 27, 2007
Bottled (BB 04/2008)
Clear orange color, small steady off-white head. Fruity (peach), sweetish aroma with strange sour milk notes. As seems to be typical to La Choulette beers: crisp, very carbonated and sourish flavor. Otherwise peach flavors are dominating - peach is just not the best (or pleasant) fruit for beer! I like their rasberry beer, but this one is not very enjoyable.

Bottle, bought @ Aakjærs, Esbjerg.
Pours clear golden with a big, frothy white head. Aroma is quite doughy with a heavy dose of sweet peach. Fine enough mouthfeel. Flavour is rather sweet, there is a rather natural tones of peach. Finish is okay with a good malty presence. Good enough for a light summer beer.

It’s a golden beer, with a huge, white head. The aroma has perfume-like notes of peach and the flavour is sweet, watery with notes of malt and peach. An indifferent beer. 1711
