# 3022 ersma: danke an thomas für die flasche. ein bier mir 6 volt „imperial ipa“ zu nennen, ist schon grob irreführend. das ist ja grad mal die unterste grenze für ein ipa. orange mit braunstich und trübe, da flaschengärung. mittelviel schaum, der stabiler sein könnte. der geruch ist deutlich fruchtig. grapefruit, saurer apfel, leicht nach herben kräutern. dazu aber auch eine deutliche süßliche komponente. der antrunk ist süßlich, wird aber nach wenigen sekunden spürbar herb und bitter. aromen von beeren und grapefruit, dazu leicht grasige note. die mitte ist bitter-fruchtig, die aromen bleiben vorhanden. der abgang wird etwas lieblicher, obwohl der bittere grundton bestehen bleibt. auch hier blumig-fruchtige töne, etwas grapefruit, mehr rote beeren. die 0.33-l-flasche hat ein auf goldfolie gedrucktes, viereckliges etikett, welches hochkant aufgeklebt ist. schlicht und ansehnlich, wenn der druck denn vernünftig wäre. hab hier zwei flaschen, bei beiden ist er an unterschiedlichen stellen fehlerhaft. fazit: als imperial ipa hat es aufgrund der nur 6 % per se schon mal das thema verfehlt (punktabzug). wenn wir darüber hinwegsehen, haben wir ein annehmbares bis gutes ipa, aber auch nicht mehr. 9,9,9,9,7,9 8,90

Ipa bastante bebible de color anaranjado con espuma ligera y blanca. Aromas cítricos. Sabor ligeramente dulce y lúpulo con un final seco y a alcohol.

[ Trade by Rose ]. Clear medium to dark orange colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, grapefruit, pine, citrus. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, hoppy, licorice hops, thin. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120316]

Drinkable double ipa, perhaps more of a single ipa in both alcohol and bitterness. Cibeles is making good beer and perhaps with a bit more willingness to chance, this beer could be a top class example. As it stands now, it is a more than passable IIPA.

Bottle @ Ulfborg Mid March Tasting, 2012. Pours cloudy dark ruby golden with a creamy full white head. Lovely fresh hoppy nose. Grapefruit and mango. A bit of soap. Hoppy and dry flavor. Full bodied.

Bottle @ FOneFan. Hazy amber/orange with medium off-white head. Aroma is malt, hops, citrus and grapefruit. Flavour is malt, hops, caramel, little sweet, grapefruit, little pine and bitter.

Ulfborg Scooper Smagning 2012. Hazy golden with a small white head. Citrus hop aroma with a touch of caramel. Sweetish fruity flavour with citrus and peach. A bit of alcohol showing

Bottled (thanks omhper!). Amber colour, smmall white head. Aroma is strawberries, tropical fruit juice and some sweet maltyness as well. Flavour is tropical fruits, nectar, some sweet malts as well as mild bitterness. Big sweet fruity and floral hoppy aftertaste with some bitterness following.

Bottle 33cl (tasting at Omhper´s) A hazy red-orange colour with a small off-white head. An aroma of malt, citrus, orange peel and grapefruit. The taste is medium sweet and medium bitter. A medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation and a medium long duration

Bottled, thanks teddybeer! Hazy deep golden, small head. Salty grapefruit aroma. Medium bodied with clean rounded mouthfeel. Good amounts of salty grapefruit, long salty bitterness. Not really a DIPA, but a pretty good IPA.
