COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An intensely hopped style with the special plants of the Atlantic´s northeast . It is a very balanced in its bitterness, flavor and aroma. The hop character is dominated almost everything but the body is very tight and the flavor is not saturated, allowing consumption of more than one bottle. This intensive use of hops (Nugget) generates a top-fermented beer explosive aromas and light citrus notes of flowers.

UPDATED: APR 20, 2012 Update: The beer has changed. This one is improved. Those of you who have drank it 9-12 months ago, drink again. Good floral aroma and sticky resiny mouthfeel. Hops are present, but not overwhelming. Could still stand some more bittering but this is a highly drinkable IPA. Not really sure how to rate this one. Poured like a cheap macro, lots of bubbles and a seemingly bland yellow appearance. Upon closer inspection, the color is slightly hazy but still quite light. Head remains. Aroma has an un-welcome undercurrent of corn-lager, but the hops creep in, certainly far more than any other Spanish micro I have tasted (which isn’t many). The taste also gives some hops. A bit creamy as well. A strange beer. No alcohol present. Bottle says 5.1%. Palate is relatively crisp but lacks any bittering. All and all, I’m glad there’s a brewery in Madrid that is making something other than a blond and a brown beer. A bit more chance-taking and this beer could be something to drink a few times...

On tap at Cervecería Alquitara, Madrid. Citric and hay aromas, pours pale golden, with some haziness. Nice white head, dense and creamy, quite persistent, some lacework. Taste is citric, not too much bitterness. Really tasty. One of the first IPAs brewed in Spain. Deserves a chance only for this.

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Floral and fruity hoppy aroma with notes of citrus. Bitter and slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Citric hoppy and delicately floral taste with a dry and slightly sour malty base; dry, a bit slim but aromatically fruity hoppy finish. Likeable, but not a great IPA. 28.III.12

Bottled, thanks teddybeer! Hazy pale golden, brief head. Light grapefruit aroma. Sweetish with light body and clean mouthfeel. The grapefruity hop lacquer is not thick enough to fully cover a little too thin body. Some metal shines through in the finish.

Bottle. Hazy orange, stable off-white cream. Citrus and apricot hop aroma. Medium to light body, sparkly mouthfeel. Fruity yeasty and citric hop notes dominate. Fresh, enjoyable, a boon to Spains brewing world.
