2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottled: Hazy golden, mid sized head. Fruity nose with honey and white pepper. Mid sweet with medium-full body and clean, blown up mouthfeel. Candy sugar and. Ripe fruit. Plenty of alcohol in a finish with some resiny bitterness. Unrefined and boozy.

Hazy gold with a lot of carbonation. Full body. First yeast, rotting leaves, then whiskey, smoke. Dry earthen finish with lots of alcohol. Interesting but not convincing

Aroma: caramel malts, some honey, some yeast. Appearance: clear gold, medium frothy white head. Taste: medium sweet. Palate: malts continue to drive the sweets, caramel, light bread, molasses, honey, light carbonation, average-long finish. Overall: good Abbey Tripel, maybe slightly on the sweet side. Bottle from Beer of Belgium, Ypres.

33cl bottle at Van Ouds, Nijmegen. Pale golden with a full white soapy head. Medium to full body with light to moderate carbonation. Medium sweet- and bitterness. Citrus, peach, herbs and warming alcohol. A great tasteful beer in a very special glass.

33 cl. bottle @ home, gift from Luc and Kim. Hazy light yellow with a firm white head. Hoppy fruity aroma. Medium bitterness. For its considerable high ABV it sure is a light footed tripel. Nice balanced beer.

Bottle @Bierhuyske served in the horn glass in wooden stand. Cloudy yellow with a nice white head. Sweet and fruity aroma. Taste also bit sweet, but also with a little bitterness, fruity, peaches. Actually a really nice one and the glass looks cool :-)

Bottle sample at a tasting at our place. Thanks Vova. Cloudy blond with white film. Sour, a little lactic, yeasty aroma. Sweet, yeasty bitterness and summery fruit in the mouth. Smooth, full body, bitter, yeasty finish.
