(Bottled, BBE 11/2013) Opaque yellow-orange with a largeish, lasting head. Very fruity nose with a faint pear-acidic note, but no alcohol. Flavor is strongly orange-fruity with sweetish, grainy maltiness, gingery spiciness, some wheaty sourness, and a touch of acidity. Medium to full body, warming but not alcoholic palate with medium CO2. A powerful tripel with huge fruitiness and lots of hidden alcohol, with sweetness, wheaty sourness, and acidity used well to balance it all. Tripel Karmeliet meets Hoegaarden on steroids. This is the kind of beer that will get you under the table very quickly, unless you count your alcohol units (or only have a few bottles). 6447

Clear goldblond coloured beer with almost no head and no carbonation. Spicy fruited aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is sweet bitter hopped with some spicy hints ending dry.

2010 - 04 - 24 330ml bottle. golden colour. small white head. fruity, bit spicey aroma. sweet, light bitter taste.

After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity wall adhesive white foam collar which was fine and even of structure. The beer also contained much carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a yeastythick dark blond and a sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is hoppy bitter with a spicy touch . This beer smells to fruit.

Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, light hoppy, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, fruity - candy sweet yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120324]

A very good triple with delightful aroma and taste, that first reminds me of mead but then all the fruits appear. This beer has unfortunately no foam, what so ever. I will definitely try another one.

Cloudy blond color, with big fluffy head. Nice aroma, spicy, and with some hops. Good body strength, spicy malt flavor, with moderate residual sweetness, and a light fruity touch; the final presents both a respectable biterness and some alcohol punch. Good.

Rating # 9800. Bottle @ Miss January Tasting, March 2012. Pours cloudy dark golden with a creamy white head and lacings. Nose is fresh straw, yeast and fruit. A bit of hot alcohol and spices. Otherwise pretty good!
