Shared a 33cl bottle from Cora (Luxembourg). Pours a clear pale yellow with a thin white head. Aroma has citrus, yeast and spices. Average carbonation with light body. Taste is medium sweet lightly bitter with a sweet finish. Overall, a not so bad beer but a not so good one.

Pours a clear white bear with a big white head. Smells like curacao and quite fresh overall. tastes spicy but not really bitter or sweet. Leaves a weak lingering palate. Fun to try once but it just doesn’t really taste like beer.

Dorée trouble pétillance légère, mousse blanche abondante mais tombe rapidement. Malts caramel clairs, goût de sirop, trop sucrée même. Même s’il est en petite quantité le rhum se fait quand même sentir. Bof bof...

Clear golden coloured body with a super frothy, soapy white head about six centimetres tall. Aroma of pale malt, yeast, coriander seed, light black pepper, and a little sweetness form curacao. Medium to Full-bodied; Dense malty flavour with a lot of yeast and honey and a pungent, slightly medicinal flavour and a bitter finish that shows a lot of alcohol. Aftertaste is pungent and showing a mix of alcohol and yeast - with the warmth and bitternss of the alcohol strongest. Overall, a decent beer, but showing too much honey and bitterness and not enough complexity and depth. Not really worth bringing back home, but worth a quick drink if you can find it for a decent price in country. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Beer Mania in Bruxelles, Belgium on 19-August-2013 for €2,50 sampled at home in Washington on the other side of the pond on 08-November-2013.

33 cl. bottle @ Bier Central. Pale golden with a pretty big white head. Nose is artificial and enjoyable lemon with slight hops, sweet, hint floral, sugar. Taste is artificial but enjoyable lemon, slight hops, floral, quite sweet, white sugar sweetness with a sweetness which I assume is the rum, almost but almost corn sweet with slight hay, zesty, creamy, slight cheap honey and touch spices in the back Fine, easy to drink. No idea what the deal is up with the score up on here, I liked as did the others. Sweetish and tad fake but not without enjoyment.

Standaard donker gele kleur. Volle schuimkraag. Ruikt niet veel. Beetje zoetig en fruitig. Smaakt zoetig. Standaard tripel. Veel koolzuur.

Pours a pale beer with a good white head. Smells like a standard sweet triple. Tastes way to sweet. Lively carbo. Medium body.

Bottle brought home from Rochefort. Funnily the bottle kind of exploded when we were opening it, but thanks to a fast reaction it was possible to save more than the half of it. It has got a hazy yellow colour with airy head and medium to smooth body. Nose of caramel and hops. Taste of pure white sugar, honey, light caramel, hay, red apples and light hops. Just way too sweet, expected a lot more from it. Not easy to drink and not quaffable or refreshing - more a liquer than a beer.
