Fast diminishing head, doesn’t seem to disappear completely. Soft spicy aroma. Taste is sweet, acidic with a great full, warm feeling. Reminds me a bit of Liefmans goudenband, only better. Especially the medium sourness does it for me. (Bottle 33cl)

Bottled. Hazy mahogany colour, small head. Coffee with citrus behind. Lemon, syrup and coffee. Fairly deep with notes of dry white wine. Spritzy finish with some almuminium. Interesting.

Thick and weighty looking. Dark and clouded. It has some lively bubbles but no sustained head. A lovely spicy aroma that contains both sweet and savoury notes. Hints of mustard mingle with the toffee and chocolate of the malt. It is lightly metallic and very spritzy in the mouth. I comes across as very shallow at first but then develops complexity over time. The exciting mustard appears again with some fruity apple and plum. Very light and fruity with a hint of bitterness to the finish.

Bottle. Carmelized sugar and hops aroma. Dark opaque color with small head. Carmelized sugar and malt with light smokiness. A very well done brune. Great.
