(75 cl bottle from market in Saint-Cyprien, Dordogne) Pours a clear dark brown with rich toffee head that laces the glass. Aroma of toasted malt with notes of chocolate. Creamy on the palate, medium-bodied (for a stout) with soft carbonation and a dry finish. The taste is moderately bitter with mild sweetness and pleasant toasted notes of chocolate malt. Girlfriend says: "It has a pleasant hazelnut note."
