tap at brewery Feb 2012-pours crystal clear pale yellow with a small spritzy white head and some lacing. nose of white grapes, grassy notes, and dank lager/spicy yeast notes. Flavors exhibit a gooseberry type flavor from the new zeland hops-must be something with the soil qualities in that region. I LOVE Nelson Saluvin Hops and whatever hop used here has a very similar quality. A definate awesome twist on this style that fits very well. What an awesome pils here-lite bitterness with an undertone of that white grape note. Very complex session Pils here and i love it! I couldnt get enough of this on a hot NM day!

On tap at the brewery. This one is more traditional-by that I really just mean it’s not quite so hoppy as South Peak. Very pale yellow. Nicely prominent malt character. The hops seem to fit this one, but they are atypical and a bit soapy.

10oz @ brewpub. Light straw color, brilliant clarity, bone white head. Aroma showcases light cracker malt character and lightly fruity, lightly floral hops. Clean and crisp. Easy drinking. The hops are certainly not typical, but they work.
