COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
What happens when the brewery with the finest IPA in the land sets out to brew a Double IPA? Well, hold onto your britches hop heads. Wanting balance? Go elsewhere. This is for lovers of hops. We used an exceptionally simple malt bill (our Pale Ale malt and dextrose make up 100% of the fermentables) for the purpose of allowing every lb. of hops to shine through, and man are there a lot of lbs. in this puppy; 7 lbs./bbl to be exact. The aroma is a cacophony of hops; pineapple, apricot, pine and grapefruit. You could smell this beer from the other side of the room. Ridiculous… we know. The flavor is straightforward. Again, we’re not going for balance. Hops, hops, and more hops. The finish is a big blistering bittering dryness that sticks with you for hours. WARNING: Do not make this the first beer of the night. Everything else will be completely lame and lacking afterwards. 8.9% ABV, 120 IBUS (250 calculated)

tap at the brewery-pours really lite for the style (not much malt here?) with a small soapy white head with sweet lacing from the start. nose is daf-lots of tropical notes with some resin. bright tropical shines out in your face, almost like paint thinner but in a good way. big tropical and bright fruit flavors with a finish of resin and lite alcohol prickling toe tongue. With that said, this is a very solid hop bomb here-not much malt to balance it out however, thats not what i want in my IIPA’s-i want a hop punch in the face! This beer can challenge alot of the hyped beers in the nation yet its brewed in NM. Hats off to my friend Jeff Erway for this fantastic representation of the style!

Beershine (4766) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - DEC 15, 2011
Draft @ brewery tap. Is a shade lighter than the Elevated. Ripe juicy tropical fruit, papaya, mango, orange. The alcohol is generally well hidden except for a little kick in the finish. The flavors are mellow and smooth with predominant orange meat and pith, which is tasty and unique, adding a grand mariner character. Excellent study malt profile makes for a well-constructed burly brew.

Golden colour; sweet guava and tropical fruit hop aroma; rich mandarin sweetness and slightly pithy bitterness; rich earthy finish but this has pretty good balance. Burps well, too
