Tap at the brewery-pours lite orange with a small soapy whtie head. Nose is DAF (what i call Dank As Fuck!)-mostly floral and lite lemon notes. The aroma is huge on this pale-Exactly what i want in a pale ale. Flavors are dank earthy hops and lite pine and fruity notes. long finish with lingering bitterness, but not overly harsh. a lite prick on the tongue from the bitterness but with some herbal aspects as well. This is a top notch pale ale in my book. This beer has an awesome fresh hop character to it-oily, almost "green" with all the dank notes. the floral tones are the over-arching note here, which is very tasty i must add. Nice work Erway!!!!

Amber with a thin head. Woody, slightly herbal hops. Dry and herbal with light caramel character underneath. Good, dry pale ale. Nice hop for this type of beer.

UPDATED: DEC 19, 2011 Draft @ brewpub. Coppery and bright with scattered lace. Big American hop aroma smells dauntingly chewy and yet...what a surprise, a big earthy mineral character yields to a manly, suave, and scrumptious hop profile that is equal parts earth, mineral, forest, and grapefruit. It’s dirty in the best possible meaning of the word, with lots of strong assertive hop flavors that are familiar but unique at the same time. This is a very compelling brew that made a strong impression.
