COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A true, Bavarian-style Dunkelweizen; just in time for cooler months. Ripe apple, banana, clove, cinnamon and bubblegum are just some of the intricacies that the unique Bavarian weizen yeast imparts on this light brown unfiltered and unfined ale. 5 different German malts, a 3 step infusion mash, and freshness rarely found in this country allow us all to experience a style that gets little attention in the mainstream craft beer community.

On tap at O’Niell’s. Pours amber with a small white head, very cloudy and heavily particulate. Aroma is both somewhat malty and orange citrusy. Somewhat fruity flavor. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel and somewhat bitter finish. My first dunkelweizen, this was a very interesting beer and very much unlike any of the other beers I’ve tried. Very enjoyable.
