Did someone ask for hops? Tired of beers that promise a full lupulin experience, but never deliver more than richly malted bitterness? It’s no secret that this is what we excel at. We’ve been brewing world class IPAs for years. Our flagship is the culmination of a decades worth of studying and brewing. Take a step above and acclimate to what an IPA should be.

Can courtesy if mike. Thanks! Pours orange light amber color with off white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is awesome. Bitter citrus, a touch of garlic, sweet malt in there, and more bitterness. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor is ultra smooth. Bitter citrus resinous hops balanced by sweet caramel malt. This is an awesome brew. Thanks again mike!

Pours a clear golden/orange with a large off white head...nice lacing. Aroma is a bit subtle but has melon and rind...a bit skunky in a good way. Flavor has melon and kiwi notes with some earthy bitterness...touch of hoppy spice. Mouthfeel is light/medium and silky with a melon/earthy/bitter finish. This is more of a subtle but very well crafted IPA. Enjoyable and very drinkable.

This is what a real IPA should taste like.....100 IBU and 7.2 ABV. This hangs with and exceeds just about any good IPA from the Pacific Northwest and the Gold Medal at the GABF in 2011 talks the talk and certainly walks the walk. New Mexico craft brews have come a long way and are now held to the same standards and competing with those from Colorado, California, Oregon, and Washington. There are many good IPAs out there, but I’m convinced this is there best around for American Style.

16 oz can poured a hazy orange amber with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of biscuit, cat piss, earthiness, skunk bud, grapefruit, tangerine and light tropical fruit. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, skunk bud, earthiness, grapefruit and pine with a smooth dry bitter lingering grapefruit finish.

Pine and floral hops. Sweet malt with hoppy finish. Deep cold and thin pillowy persistent head. Solid west coast style hop bomb.

Sample at GABF 10/13/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. Slightly hazy orange-amber color with a medium ivory white head and strings of lacing. Citrus, hops and malt in the nose. Medium-bodied with a citrusy hops character and notes of herbs and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Above average overall.

Pour from a tallboy at GABF ’12. Appearance is golden orange with a big white head and good lacing. Big weed, pine, resin, light straw, and citrus in the aroma. Taste follows the aroma with dank notes of weed, ganja, pine, biscuit, and straw with a medium bitter finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Pretty good, but is really lacking a solid malt backbone, and I think it would realy benefit from some added caramel notes. Still pretty tasty stuff.
