4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at the brewery. Solid American IPA. All the expected attributes from the average beer geek ... sturdy amber colors, nice head retention, enticing earthy aroma of pine forest. Quite drinkable, full of well balanced flavors you’d expect. Delish. (#5908, 10/28/2014)

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20

UPDATED: APR 25, 2015 This is the best IPA out there. This is THE ipa. I don’t care about Pliny, Heady or anything. This beer is so much better. This isn’t for anyone looking for a nice sweet malty ipa. This is all about the hops. It’s hoppy, it’s aggressive, and it’s perfect. This beer does everything right, when most breweries do it all wrong, and you’ll never have a better beer in your life. Citrus, pine, tropical fruits just dominate the aroma and taste. Theres no weird malty sweetness here. When you make it out to New Mexico buy a four pack and enjoy this. I’ve had this under four days old and it’s absolutely delicious. This is the best beer in the world and you’ll be lucky to try it. Cheers.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Shared can. Pours clear gold with creamy white head. Aroma is biscuit and cereal malts, pineapple, lemon zest, floral notes, and faint toast and caramel. Flavor is good citrus and grassy hop presence, dry malt base, grapefruit esters, and some toast; dry and smooth. Medium body and carbonation.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can brought back by David and shared tonight at the Christmas Party.
Huge dank resinous hop aroma. light sweet bready maltiness. Smooth hop flavor and bitterness. That’s a damn fine IPA right there, if I lived closer I’d drink these often.

My very first stop at the Boulder IPA Fest. Went back several more times. So excited to try this beer, and it did not disappoint. Clear golden pour with a frothy white head. Very hop forward with tons of citrus notes. Clean bitter finish. Lived up to the hype.

It poured an orange color with a white head. The aroma was of pine, resin, citrus and grapefruit. The taste was bitter, hop forward, with pine and grapefruit notes. Very nice.

4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Gift four pack canned 30 days ago. Just terrific. Aroma is unreal. The beginning whims make me think of the hop bill of Bell's Two Hearted but then it gets complicated. Sting carbonation makes for a great feel as it sits in the tongue as the malt shows its strength.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: NOV 20, 2014 Tall cans from trade. Thanks. Pours clear golden orange with a creamy yet fluffy half inch white head on top. Big hop aroma wafting out of the can and my glass with definite strong pine notes, citrus and grapefruit, grass, quite classic smelling IPA but with extra big aromatics. Flavor is dry bitter pine up front, fades into lightly sweet grapefruit and mango notes, some buscuity malts, finishing dry on the palate. Medium bodied at first but surprisingly light on the tongue, resinous, plus carbonation. This is really good, but the taste doesn’t quite live up to the awesome aroma.
