1,000 lbs. of apricots were added to a ridiculously dry and spicy saison to create this truly divine fruit-centered offering.

Sample @ Three Notch’d Tasting. Bottle via trade. Hazy light amber pour with a small head. Nose is slightly muddled. Belgian countryside. Saison yeast. Ribbon candy dipped in marmalade. The flavor’s actually pretty sharp. Loads of apricot and peach fruit skin. Pretty tart. Mildly acetic and sour. Nice clean finish. Bright and zippy. Medium body, active carbonation. Enjoyable.

750 mL bottle shared by jackl at a tasting, 10/6/14. Very hazy orange with a large fizzy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of balloon rubber, latex, peaches, vegetal and floral notes. The taste is mildly tart peaches, oatmeal, mild lactic notes. Medium bodied, mild lingering tartness. Weird one.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden, medium to larger head. Over Carbonated. Notes were Sweet and belgian peppermint. Peach and apricot but too much Belgian flavor and weird medicinals

Bottle at Jester King Zwanze Day. Golden pour with a white head. The aroma has some nice apricot notes as well as some pepper, biscuit malt and yeast. The flavor is also very apricot heavy. I get some tart and sweet notes from the fruit as well as some yeast, lemon and orange. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Very nicely done.

Bottle shared at Jeff’s. Hazy gold pour with a huge head that fades away slowly leaving soapy lacing. Aroma is dank, pulpy apricots, sweet crackers, yeast, and lemon. Tastes a light sweetness. Finishes pretty tart. Pulpy apricots mostly with some sweet bread and white wine in the finish. Definitely overcarbonated a bit. Decent overall.

Bottle:Thanks, Jason. Opaque, milky, vibrant orange-neon body with a huge, voluptuous white head. Dusty, barnyard hay aroma with some slightly medicinal, chalky peach, apricot, & generic stone fruit sweetness. Little bit of dirty straw, grass, & musty yeast. Similar flavor with a strong chalky component that finishes with a slightly unpleasant medicinal twinge. Apricot, musty wood, cobweb, hay, slightly phenolic in the aftertaste. Hint of very slight lactic notes throughout, small touch of lemon & yogurt. Spicy, peppery saison yeast, bread. Possibly over carbonated just a tiny bit. I wanted to really like this beer so bad, but some of the medicinal, chalk-like, & phenolic tones just prevented me from falling in love.

Bottle @ GT’s Cat Cabana. Thanks, GT. Hazy golden-orange pour with a tall white head. There is certainly a nice stone fruit nose. Lots of apricot and peach. Slight lemon zest and spices. Sort of a bread and honey aroma as well. Flavor is a bit on the sweet side. Plenty of stone fruit jam and bread. Hints of tart citrus. Slight peppery note and yeast. A touch of straw.
