1,000 lbs. of apricots were added to a ridiculously dry and spicy saison to create this truly divine fruit-centered offering.

From bottle at GABF 2015. Pour is clear orange with a big white head and sticky lacing. Faint stone fruit, very flora, light lemon, grass, doughy, herbal, and white pepper aroma. Taste is pretty crisp - doughy, straw, white pepper, some herbs, grass, lemony, light stone fruits, peaches, and funky with spicy finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Solid Saison.

GABF 2015. A few pours. Somewhat murky golden yellow orange appearance with a cream colored head. Tons of fruit - apricot, peach, orange creamsickle- some vanilla, lightly funky. Refreshing and very easy to drink. Unique and fun.

Bottle, thx Matt. Hazy gold, white head. Belgian esters, bubblegum, banana cotton candy and citrus; stone fruit. Lightly tart, but tons of fruitiness here. Moderately sweet, full body, slick oily texture.

A steady pour from the growler into my teku glass produces a one-finger thick, pale tan colored head. The beer is a straw color that shows a hazy, pale apricot color when held up to the light. The aroma has a light fruitiness to it that is tart and floral and certainly reminds me of apricots, though not explicitly so, as it is a fairly nondescript fruit character. There is some straw like grain character here as well, and a bit of mustiness and peppery character towards the finish.

Lightly tart tasting, with a soft, effervescent carbonation, and a light body; all of which make for a refreshing beer. This has a floral character to it up front, but gets to taste more characteristically of apricots in the middle and finish where the tartness really starts to kick in; It tastes like tart apricots that have lost their sweetness. There is a dusty quality to the finish that seems to be a mix of grassy / dried-straw like grain notes and a phenolic, sort of musty, fermentation character. As the beer warms up the apricot flavor becomes a bit more pronounced; it was always the dominant flavor to this beer, but it becomes more distinctly evocative of ripe apricots than it was when I first poured it.

A nice fruit beer, the base beer doesn’t shine through as well as I was initially hoping, though it might have just detracted / muted the apricot flavors that are here if it did. Definitely enjoyable.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy dark golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is thin, with muted apricots and some acidity. Flavour is full of apricots and Belgian yeast - much better than the nose. Fairly yeasty but fruity palate. Very nice.

At Rich’s Massive Cellar Emptying Tasting. Fleur d’Abricot cumbre 7.7% gold and softly opaque with a rich apricot. Spritzy raspy carbonation on a soft light body. A bit gassy going down with a lightly tart apricot flavor. Subtle flavors which 5 hours into the tasting my palate isn’t equipped to appreciate. 3.7
