COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our politically-correct, non-denominational winter spiced ale is brimming with all the wonderful spirit, I mean harmony, I mean peace and goodness of the season. Rich amber color with a long-lasting dense head, this beer starts with the ripe aromas of traditional spices, we’ll let you figure out which ones. The body is creamy and smooth with dense figgy malt, and a touch of molasses. The finish is malty with just enough hops to balance. Cheers to you and yours during the New Year!

On tap at the brewery. Murky dark ruby in color with a small creamy off-white head. Aroma is predominately banana and clove. Full bodied with creamy mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Moderately sweet with spices- the first time I’ve had any kind of beer that was a hybrid Belgian / spiced ale. Very good and I was quite impressed with this.

Tap @ La Cumbre. Pours a hazy reddish brown appearance with a tan head. Gingerbread, nutmeg, caramel, toasty malty nose. A bit spritzy. Ginger, spicy cinnamon, light toffee, caramel flavor. Strange but decent.

Only a hint of bitterness at the end that dissipated quickly enough to enjoy the delightful taste and full flavor.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear deep amber with a thick white head. Aroma of spices, especially cinnamon and ginger, as well as sweet malt. Flavor is also spice-heavy, mostly ginger, with anise star, clove, nutmeg, fig, and a hint of cinnamon. Pretty tasty and drinkable for the style. Dry palate and not too sweet. 7/4/8/4/14 (3.7/5)
