GBBF Day 3. Cask. Hazy gold beer, small cream colour head. Palate is light and has a fine crispness, nice condition. Thin malts. Spicy hops - spicy orange and a little marmalade. Tropical fruits on the back end as is a trace of lemon. Very nice.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2015. It pours lightly hazy orange - amber with a decent bubbly white head. The rich, sticky, grassy, oily pine, dank action, bitter - sweet character, earth and sweet grapefruit. The taste is bitter, grassy, earthy, stickiness, oily hops, varnish, pine, resin, pepper, dank hoppage, light herbal and grapefruit rind with a dry, peppery finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Flavoursome and rather drinkable. Good one.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2015. Hazy amber lasting beige head. Grapefruit aroma. One of the better ipa this year. Good ipa.

From cask. Pours cloudy orange, small white head. Aroma is solid grapefruity, light pine hoppy too. Bitter, dry and solid hops fruity. Bitter and mild pine into the far finish.

Bottle, 2015 batch. Pours a hazy honey-gold with a dense cap of off-white foam. Aroma is, obviously, dank, with guava, grass, grapefruit peel and weed blending into one. The flavor’s less complex and more straightforwardly bitter, blending grapefruit pith with a splash of honey before a clean, balanced yet slightly weak finish. Slick medium body; mild CO2. Decent, but I much prefer La Cumbre’s Elevated to this.

Draft. Mildly wet, dank (duh) aroma. Slightly cloudy. Flavors are kind of mocha-y, with hazelnuts, toffee and a hint of caramel. Smooth, balanced, considered. Tasted on July 18.

First wiff of this batch is catty, lemon and floral background. This batch is much lighter than previous batches of dank. Nice hoppy burst to the tongue with a balanced malt body. Excellent

Tap at the brewery Sat 5/22, Irish pint glass. Pours dark amber-red. Smells of wet earthy hops, some vegetable. Soft hop character, earthy/wet, rounded. Not crazy bitter on the back which is nice for an earthy IPA.

3/25/15. 22oz bottle shared by Nate during a VORLAUF meeting! Thanks! Orange pour with a nice khaki head, great lacing. Awesome aroma - fresh hoppiness, citrus, pine, lots of tropical fruits. Great flavor, hoppy, fresh hoppy flavor, citrus, fruity, just enough malt balance and bitterness. Delish!
