The Project Dank is just that; a project. It is an ever changing expression of our hoppiest endeavors. Each operation will be different, featuring different hops and hopping techniques. One thing will remain common to the operations; HOP INSANITY. Read more on our blog at http://www.lacumbrebrewing.com

I wasn’t quite as big of a fan of the most recent tapping I had, but Project Dank is reliably REALLY good.

Bottle from trade -- thanks Paul! This smells phenomenal, like a pile of fresh, dank grapefruit. Semi-full mouthfeel and a surprisingly large amount of bittering hops, which creates an almost overwhelming sensation in your mouth. Great aroma at the finish, but it ends with a peculiar, almost smoked taste that threw off my whole experience. I came back for a second helping an hour later, and that smokey taste was still there -- peculiar.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma certainly lives up to its name, with loads of dank hops - wow, that’s intense. Flavour is insanely dank with shitloads of dank hops. Not sure I’ve tasted a more intense hoppy beer, especially one without astringency on the finish. Excellent stuff, though a tad one-dimensional.

Bottle share. Thanks Pete. Hazy yellow with a thick head. Combination of citrus, pine, and tropical fruit aromas. Lots of bitterness, however the flavor is really good and the finish is great.
