on tap at the brewery. Dark amber in color with a small frothy and creamy white head. Somewhat cloudy. Aroma is lightly malty with a stronger citrusy hop presence. Medium bodied with creamy texture and soft carbonation. Lightly sweet and somewhat more bitter. A very nice pale ale.

Draft at GABF. Pours a nice looking copper with a fluffy head. The nose is fresh and clean. Grassy hops and hints of caramel come through. Nose has orange blossom as well. Dusty malts. On tasting, nice a full malt profile with a clean bitterness. Good ratio of bitterness and hop character with the malt. Really great EPA.

Draft. Looks great - fairly clear orangish-amber color with a one-finger white head. The aroma is pretty nice, earthy, spicy, and floral hops with caramel behind it. The flavor has a good balance of hops and malt. Caramel and biscuit malt base with good earthy and spicy hops. Medium-bodied with average carbonation. Not as good as the other two La Cumbre beers I tried, but still very good. These guys are legit.

Amber with a slight haze. Surprisingly little aroma. Toasty, crackery malt with earthy hops. Firm body - lots of minerals in this? Anyway, decent stuff - American style with English ingredients. I remember the first year of Smuttynose Big A IPA was like that - it’s an interesting concept.

Flavors are bready, toasty, light caramel with some woodsy hop notes. Bitter balance (slight), medium carbonation. Good

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear brown with a thick white head. Aroma of sweet fruits and bready malt. Flavor of sweaty hops, caramel malt, bready malt, floral hops. Decent drinking but the seasonal pale (Lazy River) is better.

tap at brewpub-fire it up!!! copper hue with a soaphy eggshel head. sweet malts and earthy hops on the nose-caramel, leafy (EKG hops?). minty, piney earthy hop flavors with a good sweet malt base (toasted grains). for some reason, this reminds me of Stone pale ale-alot of hops ,but not overly bitter and more of an english style than american. however, it doesnt have the diacytl you would find in an English pale. long dry earthy and leafy finish. almost like an ESB. cool brew!
