COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Are you craving something a little more rustic? Our pilsner will get you there. Sure, over 99% of lagers are filtered bright. Well not our’s. Loads of Czech saaz hops, the finest quality Continental pilsner malt, and uber-traditional production methods are the hallmarks of this glorious lager.

On tap at pub. Pours out a crisp pale straw. Topped with a nice long lasting white head. Nose is nice fresh cut grass and some bread malts. Taste is as the nose wow what a good lawnmower beer.

Simply the best pilsner i’ve had since coming back from europe in march. I could stop the rating there and i would think it is exactly the right way to describe this surprisingly good beer. So i will.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear life gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has a nice combination of light grass and grain with a bit of crispness. Flavor has the same combination of grass and light grain that has a crisp finish.

Tap@Brewery: Clear, yellow-golden pour - some bread, some biscuit, some toasty malt, with a gentle, spicy Noble hop character. Structure is a little too loose for my taste. Overall, a good Pilsner not a great one.

Growler shared by someone at RBWG ’11 (notes). Pours a clear bright golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet grains, pilsner malts, herbal and spicy hops, earthy, grass, honey with some floral character on the nose. Pretty clean nice drinking pilsner, especially for something that is not a style I prefer.

Draft at tap room. Pouts golden with a thin white head. Leaves trace lacing in the glass. Has a bit of the fresh cut grass thing on the nose. A little bit of hop bite on the tongue. Finishes clean. Solid example of style.

At the brewery pub on draft cloudy light golden with a sliight white head aroma of hops and maybe apples it has a strong citrus flavor that is full bodied and has a bitter taste remains on the palate

Tap at La Cumbre. Big white lace sheets on clear golden. Muted hop nose with hints of sweet apple juice. Taste is getting there, grass and biscuit, sharp lemon, mild lemon acid backend. Pretty nice. Palate gets a tad minerally. Overall in the right direction for style. Needs a heftier aroma and a bit brighter of a crackery malt punch in body.
