Tap@Brewery: Not a big fan of pumpkin beer. This one appears to be a pale ale as a base beer, with fresh pumpkin puree (is that an oxymoron?) added to a very nice balance. Overall, still not a fan of pumpkin beer.

On draught at Slice Parlor - Albuquerque. Bounds a clear dark amber with slight head. Intense nufmeg aroma. Medium body, underlying hop bitterness, slightly sweet rich maltiness. Pronounced spicdst, seemingly nutmeg, dominate any pumpkin character. ,

Growler pours with a clear amber body with copper hues and supporting a thin tan head of foam. The aroma is nice and pumpkin like along with malt sweetness and cinnamon graham cracker. The taste delivers thick sweet malts moving into pumpkin and some semi bright winter spiciness. Darn nice brew.

Amber/orange pour. White head. Great pumpkin aroma with a great balance of spices. Think and creamy with lots if balanced pumpkin and spice flavors.

on tap at the brewery. Clear amber in colore with average-sized off-white head. Good lacing throughout. Aroma is completely dominated by pumpkin and spices. Medium bodied with creamy mouthfeel. Moderately sweet. I’m not the world’s biggest pumpkin fan, but this is perfect for the autumn months.

Ruby red. Aroma: clove, cinnamon, and some rum raisin. Flavor: quite a bit of clove. I’m not particularly in tune with pumpkin flavors, but there is some. More on the spice end for sure. Pretty bitter finish, a bit too much-Accentuates the vegetalness more than I’d like. Some caramel malts in the finish.

Amber-brown. The aroma is full of pumpkin, caramel and pie spice (esp. nutmeg). Assertively spiced, and this is balanced by lots of caramelly malts. Bold, tasty pumpkin ale.

3fourths (8037) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 12, 2011
UPDATED: MAR 13, 2013 creamy pumpkin pie nose, soft, earthy, doughy, rock solid tight carbonation to match the acid and body. medium-light pulp and high pumpkin spice / allspice / nutmeg leaves mouth tingling and peppery, bit over done here but the balance / body outweighs an excessive flavor or two.

Beershine (5218) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - OCT 10, 2011
UPDATED: OCT 14, 2011 @ ABQ brewfest. Coppery cinnamon orange. Aroma is pumpkin soup with natural, roasted pumpkin. The cinnamon spice comes our exceptionally well in the flavors. This is very rich, strong without being hot. Has some nice candi sugar quality too. Certainly well-hopped enough and yet there is no interference from hop. It’s just supremely well-executed. The highlight is the pure and delicate extraction of cinnamon. Excellent pumpkin ale.
