COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Beautiful hazy golden color with fine and persistent white head, good and pleasant carbonation, aromas of yeast, bread, pepper and other spices, light bitterness, refreshing

33 cl. Bottle. Pours. A cloudy yellow with a white head that is light and doesn’t last. The aroma is like limes with a slightly bitterbtaste. Overall an interesting triple, a little more like geuze, but not my thing.

Pale blond color, clear, with a light unstable white foam. Aroma of wet grass, a bit simular to some sparkling dry white wines. Taste is slightly sweet and slightly bitter too, dry and a bit salty with fruits notes and a cereal aftertaste. A bit too light in aroma and taste but quite easy to drink.

Fancy 37,5cl geuze-style bottle, bb: n/n, Delhaize. Muddled beigish golden pour, dirty white mousse. Condensed spiced and soapy aromas of lemon soap, coriander, sweet malts. A modern bitterness at the core of the taste profile fails to become aromatic, overwhelmed by uncentered malt sweetness, vanilla sugars and a dull yeast profile. A bit like a confused, florally perfumed Leffe Blond: a shame about that fancy bottle ogling the gastronomy shelves - maybe chilling it like Champagne keeps this beer together?

The first beer from a new brewery in Liège, in a 37,5 cl geuze bottle. Medium thick, stable, off-white, sticky head, colour pale blonde, misty. Strongly lightstruck and phenolic aroma of sulphur, plastic, burnt rubber, fortunately redeemed by more friendly impressions of apple, vanilla, grass; soft apply onset with lightly sourish wheat touch, mellow mouthfeel, malt sweetness, some vanilla sugar, finishing in a late leafy hop bitterness, medium long. Tasted not as bad as expected, but the aroma ruined it for me.
