COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Curtius is a blond beer brewed with a number of premium quality products with a light taste and refreshing flavors. Mixed with different malts of barley and wheat, its base grants it a pleasant lightness while the addition of aromatic hop blossoms gives it a subtly bitter, flowery and fruity flavor. Its unique and progressive taste is the results of multiple fermentation steps, conducted during several months. Curtius deserved a bottle of quality and prestige at the scale of its content. This is why we chose a 37.5 cl corked bottle, just like Champagne bottles. Naturally Curtius will also be available in barrels. To enjoy all the flavors of Curtius store the bottle upright at room and stable temperature, hidden from daylight. When tasting, once the bottle is properly chilled, untie the cork wire, take out the cork and serve Curtius Beer in its original glass. Avoid pouring the bottom of the bottle which contains the yeast dregs which gave its complexity to Curtius during its bottled re-fermentation. Ideal temperature for beer-tasting : 6-8°C

Bel colore...ottimo sapore, profuma di fresco e si beve molto bene. Personalmente l’ho gustata con un risotto alle verdure spezzato al curcuma.

375ml bottle [{C}urtiusy of bartlebier, thank you very much!]. Minimally cloudy, golden colour with some flocculation and average, frothy, diminishing, white head. Minimally dusty, yeasty and fruity aroma, notes of (dried) apricot. Taste is moderately sweet fruity, minimally dusty yeasty, notes of apricot reappear. Quite simple and easy drinkable.

sample at mondial de la bière, mtl. hazy light golden pour with a small yet reviving eggshell white head, nice lacing. pale sweetish maltiness, faint orchard fruitiness - bruised apples; lots of fruity phenolic esters, booze - floral and tingling; oxidized grass, dead flowers and/or stenchy marguerites; spices, obvious quite fruity belgian yeast strain, pepper. moderate carboantion - could be brighter; light body, semi-sweet herbal-grassy-spicy finish. no belgian mastering here - should take notes on older belgian breweries. under-attenuated, plain and linear belgian ale.

A hazed amber ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light candy sugar, light curacao, coriander, classic Belgian. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light curacao, coriander, light perfumy notes, nice and smooth. Bottle at Mondial 2016.

minutemat (4040) - Shrewsbury, Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 29, 2016
UPDATED: MAY 31, 2016 375ml corked & caged bottle from local mini market in Spa, Belgium. Pours hazy gold with large fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet sugary Belgian yeast. Taste is standard aromatic yeasty sweet Belgian blonde territory. Pleasant, lightly spiced, with soft vanilla, coriander and delicate aromatics. After an evening of uber bland English cask, this was needed!

37,5 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Hazy golden with a white head. Fruity yeasty spicy aroma. Light sour taste with very lively carbonation. Reminded me a bit of a mix between that champagne beer Deus, a lambiek and a tripel. Good unusual beer.

Belgian Blond? Wit? Champagnerbier? I dont know, but i like it. o,375l/ca.3 Euro aus Löwen,Belgien.

Bottle 37,5cl, shared by Calisky, a cloudy copper beer with low head. Nose is on cooked fruits, honey and mirabelle. Aroma is on burnt honey, old apples, paper notes, sugar, phenolic, not that balanced. Finish on old apples, coriander, gingerfruits, difficult to finish, not good.
