La Diable Cream Ale

Serve in Footed Pilsner, Lager glass

On tap at the brewpub (as beer of the month in February 2010). Pours a clear gold with nice large, cascading white head; good retention. Bread and light fruit in nose. Flavour starts fruity with a bit of bread but gives way to an overwhelming taste of sour milk (infection?). Looks great and has some nice characteristics but something’s amiss.
