(Draught) Thin, yellowish-head with a deep mahogany body. Nose is quite malty. It has a tart flavour with caramel malt undertones and is quite bland and uneventful.

Sample, cask served in a plastic glass, on the premise, savoured on January 11 2011; eye: caramel, hazy, no effervescence, tiny ring of beige head, light lacing; nose: malt, caramel, light hops; mouth: malt, caramel, light bittering hops, light pepper, finale in bittering hops with light presence of honey, medium body, good carbonation (curiously), lightly grainy texture; overall: correct

Tea amber , smallish creamy top , medium-low carbonation . Light malty aroma . Ale made in British style, medium light bodied, light hop character. Thin finish.

Red colour, light white head. Malty and slightly sweet with a touch of bitterness at the end.

Decent brew, fairly typical red. Nice color, smallish head. Has some presence, yet still remains refreshing after a day on the slopes.
