(50 cl can from Proximarché in Riez) Pours a clear golden with little, white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is somewhat malty and boozy. Watery texture, medium to light body, medium carbonation and a slightly sweet and fruity finish. Flavour is mostly sweet but slightly astringent. Not really my style.

Bottle, pours a light brown, aroma was grainy and so is the taste. A bit rough around the edges, similar to other in this style. Decent

Really loved this beer. I’d been on a steady died of dull French blonde beers, but this thing just had so much more depth to it. The dark copper color is the first clue, then the Abbaye/Leffe-like clovey yeast note, then a smooth sweetness of well-hidden alcohol, with a crisp finish. Great value and sold in most French supermarkets too.
