750 ml bottle. The aroma is softly spicy and earthy. A dank sort of damp aroma along with a soft malt sweetness and a fairly herbal hoppiness. Earthy and woody with a little bit of light caramel. The malt profile is quite distinctive here - a mixture of dry caramel, toasted grain and some earthiness. There is a touch of coriander/clove here, but it is very, very subtle. A touch of cooked fruit but it’s also subtle. This is pretty nice actually - not a typical BdeG - but it has many of the characteristic elements.

Bottle, courtesy of yrcrz. Pours clear amber with a white head. Metallic aroma with some hoppy and caramel notes too. Taste is smoky, with wood and caramel.

It pours orange with a reddish tint; the head is off-white and foamy (with large bubbles). The aroma has notes of: orange-zest, short-bread, wet grass, pepper, and alcohol. The taste is medium-light sweet that finishes lightly dry; there are notes of: orange-zest, pepper, alcohol, a woody characteristic, and malty sweetness. The palate is medium-light bodied, slightly stick, with medium carbonation, and a medium spicy finish. Overall, pleasantly drinkability, without being too simple.

Bottle, shared with my wife. Medium amber, hazy, average off white head. Sweet and malty, honey and a bit of marzipan, cooked pear. A bit sticky, low carbo. Not really feeling this one.

Small bottle. Pours amber gold with a few floaties and a thin white head. Nose of banana and alcohol wheatiness. Raisins, dough and sandalwood in the taste. Quite a surprising bitter sting in the finish, which lasts. Decent, but feels a little "false".

Single, swing-top from the LCBO at 8.5% ABV. Best before 15.06.14 on front label. Pours a golden, light amber colour with a white cap that has good retention and lots of dirty lacing. Belgian Ale yeast nose with the hints of wheat, bananas, spices, apples and a little alcohol. The yeast is milder, but present in the taste, with hints of fruits (mostly apples) and spices. Medium-bodied with a slight oily mouthfeel and no burning. Goes down quite well. For those who like strong Belgian Ales with bananas, apples and spices that are not cloudy.

750ml bottle. Clear orange body, medium to small beige head with good retention, some lacing. Aroma of sweet malt, herbs, floral hops, caramel, yeast. Taste dominated by a bold amount of yeast, sweet malt, herbal hops, caramel, touch of coriander, alcohol. Dry and mineral. Alcohol a little too prominent.

750 mL bottle. Pours amber caramel with a thick white head and lots of lacing. Nose of banana, coconut, bread yeast, caramel malt, allspice and a touch of smoke. Fairly sweet, medium bodied with a full mouth feel. Interesting and unique but a little sweet for my liking.

Aroma:nice dryness on caramel base on it. Some alcohol, slight fruity sweetness. Not overly complex but very nice presentation. 7+

Taste: medium bodied. Quiet dry, slight mineral follow up. Tad champagne like. Some bitterness on lips. Alcohol at end. very nice brew.
