Cloudy red-amber color; medium creamy head. Light smoke aroma, chestnuts and malt. Medium body, too much carbonated, with a common caramel flavor, and a light additional chestnut flavor. Strong bitterness. The base beer is a bit too harsh, but the chestnut can clearly be perceived. Did they use chestnut flour?

Unclear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chestnut, butter and meat notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100306]
