Commercial Description:
A taste of Québec’s winter... and warmth! Our apple ice wine is produced in the depths of Québec’s winter, each bottle containing a blend of 5 kg of McIntosh and Spartan apples. This golden liquid develops a complex aroma of candied fruit and achieves the perfect balance between the tart and the mellow. Enjoy Neige alone as an aperitif, or with foie gras, cheese or dessert. Serve chilled.

Bottle received via trade with Glouglouburp. Pours sparkling dark yellow with no head, thus no lacing. Aroma is average malt (hay, straw), light hops (grass), light yeast (earth) with notes of apple. Medium bodied, slick texture, soft carbonation, and a sweet finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness.

Great dessert here. Unique balance of an upfront and potent apple flavor. A little on the sweet side for myself, but with age this should be that much better. Thick and syrupy body with a slight alcohol taste.

Bottle that the Mikkeller gang brought along to share, cheers for invitng me over Henrikb Really stcky and sweet but quite wonderful. Very good tang its so concentrated makes you feel like it should be watered down. Lovely fresh sliced apples, quite incredible and so full flavoured, feel very fortunate to have this and the Dark Lord right after each other.

2005 Vintage 375ml via in person trade with glougoburb. Thanks Dany, shared with my girlfriend Cyn and my friend Steve who loves cider and recently got his masters. Pour golden orange with no head. Nose is sweet and very nice with lots of flavor. Taste is sweet, with a ridiculous amount of apple flavor and overall a wonderful full flavored experience thats slightly boozy but all in all not compared to the alcohol it acutally has. Excellent.

Golden. Big candied apple pie nose with the spices. Medium-full bodied, delectable apple flavor meshing with the alcohol warmth, spices, Starts sweet with balancing apple tartness. Just fantastic.
