Commercial Description:
A taste of Québec’s winter... and warmth! Our apple ice wine is produced in the depths of Québec’s winter, each bottle containing a blend of 5 kg of McIntosh and Spartan apples. This golden liquid develops a complex aroma of candied fruit and achieves the perfect balance between the tart and the mellow. Enjoy Neige alone as an aperitif, or with foie gras, cheese or dessert. Serve chilled.

375. Lighty caramelly golden brown--very delicate coloration, almost sparkles in the light. Headless and laceless of course, fair amount of leg showing against the side of the glass. Sharp green apple nose; tart fruit sugar and red apple in there as well. Light, vanishing presence on the tongue, along with a denser, more syrupy settling sensation on the floor of the mouth. It’s like it breaks into lots of different little pieces in different parts of the mouth; some sugary, some puckery, some effervescent, some concentrated. Very dimensional apple presence at every stage. Long, sticky, sugary finish.

Aroma is very sweet, honey, apple syrup, green apples. Taste is full and awesome, apples across the board, it’s like they condensed a cider down using a government shrink ray.

375 ml bottle. pours golden with a nice syrupy stickyness to the look. this baby has legs! a quick swirl coats the sides in a thick golden deliciousness. it took 3 mins for the sides to run down to the body of the cider. aromas are apple driven with hints of pear, honey and some spice. flavours are wonderful apple sweetness with a touch of spice finished with a touch of tartness. a wonderful drinking experience.

Bottle: (50 ml) The aroma is a combination of apples, white wine, a hint of honey, and faint alcohol. Pours a transparent gold and really coats the sticks to the glass. There are few large bubbles that almost instantly disappear for a head. The flavor starts with an intense sugary apple sweetness that quickly turns very tart and sour apple candy-like with some acidity in the finish. There is a definite warming affect and very faint burn, but no alcohol flavor to speak of whatsoever. There is the slightest hints of cinnamon in the finish. Slick oily mouthfeel. I was sort of let down by the aroma, but I love the intense flavor.

What a way to start your Sunday morning!!! Pure golden yellow pour, oily, cordial like legs. Sweet and tart apples up front. Tons of residuel sugars. Very faint hint of spice. Flavor exactly as aroma would indicate. Tart apples up front, fades to sugary sweet apple pie through the middle, never finishes. Long lingering aftertaste. Silky smooth mouthfeel, at times syruppy, in a good way. Can’t believe this is the 3rd best cider from them? Dangerously drinkable. In fact in a way I am glad it’s $32 a bottle, could definately lead to trouble.
