Creamy, very fine-bubbbled, yellow head over veiled orange beer. Short impression of rainwater, then sharp malty notes, spiced as toasted gingerbread, and some - again spicy - hops. Toasted, even nearly scorched flavour; lightly roasted malts and a peppery, gingery finish. Real impression of ginger ale retronasal, or the Scottish multi-pastelcoloured sweet sticks. Almonds warming up. Spritzy, slick & faint alcoholimpression backthroat. Bit burning MF, medium bodied. Nowhere bad. Wonder if this is an original, or a labelbeer from... Many thanks to Stef!
