Cloudy brown color, short off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, some cane sugar. Quite sweet taste of caramel malt, again cane sugar, molasses maybe, bit spicy.A decent beer from the south of Belgium.

33cl BB09/2012. Cuivre, col blanc/ocre. Arôme de réglisse, malt léger, fruits noirs. En bouche, bière très agréable, légère pointe de noisette avec en retrait des fruits noirs rappelant des mûres et la réglisse. Petite pointe épicée avec malt caramel. Sur la fin, la levure vient confirmer ce léger profile d’épices avec en retrait cette touche fruitée. Belle surprise.

Cannot speak to the appearance of this, as it was served in a handsome ceramic chalice. Fruity aroma, very spicy flavour that goes well with a hearty Ardennois meal. With a bit of juniper added, this would taste like a good broth for game. Not a beer you drink a lot of, but not bad either.

Bottle from la Cave de Venetien, La Roche, Belgium. Muddy light reddish brown with a medium beige head. Spicy and earthy aroma, with nutmeg, ginger, and perhaps cinnamon as well. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Semi dry with low bitterness.

Bottled. The aroma has caramel malts and cardemom. Hazy-cloudy, orange-brown coloured beer with an off-white, thin head. The taste is sweet, has caramel malts, nutmeg, cardemom. Medium body. Okay.

Bottle at DØE tasting, Randers. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Raisin notes. Moderate bitter flaor dominated by dark fruits: Plumb and rasin. Candis notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Muddy brown color, tiny beige head that settles quickly, minimal lacing. Aroma of caramel and light malt, background whiff of nutmeg. Flavor of butterscotch and nutmeg. Medium body. Overall not a bad beer, especially if you try it locally, but not worth pursuing.

33cl from beer shop in Rochefort poor like cola no foam. dark brown beer with almost no head. Very malty soft taste,dry and easy to drink. a bit sourish.

Bottle, 33 cl. Amber-brown color, with small, fine off-white head. Aroma malts, sweet, some chocolate ?. Medium body. Taste little sourness, and dry chocolate, roasted malts, bit sweet. Not bad.

Bottle. Nice and a little to sweet beer. combination of choclate and fruits makes this beer something special

Bottle@Home. Very fruity aroma with dark malts in the background. Ruby color, beige head, few lace. Sweet, fruity, chocolate, hints of licorice. Quite an amateuristic character.
