KimJohansen (2460), Copenhagen V, Denmark Jun 18, 2008 Hazy golden with tiny off white head. Sweet yeasty with spicy and caramel notes. Ends sweet. Mild hoppy end. Mes_and_Sim (3967), London, Greater London, England May 31, 2008 A Mes rate: Bottle at weekend of tarts afterparty. Hazy dark gold colour with a thin white head. Sweet and bready yet not overly yeasty for the style and with plenty of malt. Far from a world beater but a pleasant enough drink. joergen (6147), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 28, 2008 Bottle.
Hazy golden coloured with a small off white ehad.
Fruity aroma of yeast and citrus with notes of spices.
Fruity flavour of yeast, citrus and hops.
Hoppy finish. JoeinUccle (608), Brussels, Belgium Mar 28, 2008 A pretty classic-tasting Belgian pale ale that has unreconstructed, homebrew leanings... and I mean that in a good way. Draft at the Ferme au Chene. Hazy orange-amber, big white head slowly recedes. Nose is sweetish and grainy. Flavor is lightly sweet, rolling into a slightly dry, bready and faint bitterness. Tastes like juice of the barley. No obvious funny stuff. It’s a nice beer that’s even better with some salty local sausage.
