Bottled at RBESG 2010 Grand Tasting. An unclear golden beer with a fast disappering brown head. The aroma has notes of wood, brettanomyces, alcohol, and fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, citrus fruits, and cinnamon, leading to a dry finish where the cinnamon carries thru.

Light unclear medium orange amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty - chestnut, light roasted, spicy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, spicy, chestnut. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100606]

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small tan head. Aroma is fruity, slight nutty and vague phenolic. Mild to light bodied. Light fruity, vague bitter and slight acidic. Bitter, phenolic and slight citric.

Bottle. Hazy amber with a medium off white head. The aroma is caramel, chestnut, dark fruit and some yeast. The flavour is yeasty spice, chestnut, caramel and some fruit. Bit cloying.

6th June 2010. RBESG 10 Grand Tasting at the Brasserie 4:20 warehouse. Thanks Papsoe! Hazy orange - brown beer. No real head. Crisp but oddly low carbonation. Very dry! Grrrrrrrrrr! Odd slightly sour malt with a little bit of chocolate and a bit of cheese! Dry finish. Weird!

Bottle @ RBESG, Rome. Pours unclear amber with a small creamy off white head. Earth, caramel, cinnamon and chestnut. Medium bodied. Dry and spicy.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy amber with an off-white head - almost dissipating completely. Spicy, herbal aroma. Quite full-bodied, sweet roasted malt, caramel and then again this herbal - almost medicinal - chestnut character, somewhat licorice-like also. Some alcohol and some hops in the finish. Certainly a different chestnut beer. 290510
