mjs (427), Finland May 5, 2008 (Bottle at One Pint on 2008-02-21) Ligh golden colour, almost clear. Fruity and yeasty nose. Fruity taste with some bitter hops. Bitterness increases in aftertaste. Sweetness, a bit too much of it. Jerre (1272), Waregem, Belgium Apr 1, 2008 Bottle, 75l cl. (found thid @ Van Uxeem)
Hazy light golden with a white thick head.
Aroma sweet malts, bit citrus?. Medium body. Taste sweet, malts, little spice, bitterness.
Not bad. JorisPPattyn (4247), Antwerpen, Belgium Mar 22, 2008 Very thick-set, slowly collapsing, just off-white head over hazy golden beer. Candi sugar, as well as all kinds of vegetable aroma’s, and citrus; touch of sournes in the nose (pickles?). Sweet, with a spicy, very yeasty imprint, and a faint impression of acidity, and I mean acetic. Again like preserved vegetables, and even a meaty ester. Very slick, grist slickness, medium bodied. Seems not fermented out, somehow. Badly kept, stocked, transported? Poor, anyhow. Tranquillity (1027), Espoo, Finland Feb 19, 2008 750ml bottle @ One Pint Pub, Helsinki, Belgian Week 2008. Hald-hazy colour, medium head. Meady aroma, some sticky berries. Taste quite harsch and unbalanced. oh6gdx (5195), Vaasa, Finland Feb 12, 2008 Bottled. Hazy orange colour, small white head, which lasts for quite long. Aroma is fruits, yeast, some spices and alcohol. Flavour is very much caramel malts, grassy hops and a bit grainy. Some sticky sweetness shows up when it gets a bit warmer.
