Sep 23, 2006 Spicy wooden nose. Deep amber body billowing with fragrant suds. Pine cones inserted into the nostrils. Froth and lace all over the place. Jul 10, 2006 Bottle picked up from Morisson, 750ml. An amber colour with a big tan head; the first pour was sparklingly clear and the second slightly cloudy. Malty, slightly fruity aroma and a touch stale. To taste thin malt, fruit, a bit of sugar, spice and a dryish finish. Rather boring for a Belgian.

Jun 25, 2006 PNW amber aroma, caramel and vanilla with a metallic-yeasty backing. Copper with a nice head. Light flavour. I get a fair amount of pepper and some underlying caramel notes.

May 13, 2006 Picked up from Morrisons 12-05-06. I had a larger version of this bottle. 750ml. This is amber coloured with large Mr Whippy head. Aroma is quite sweet with a musty yeastiness pervading. Sweetness continues through into the taste with sweet malt flavours pushing through and some hops struggling to show up. I quite enjoyed this but in truth it wasn’t anything particularly out of the ordinary.
