Amber coloured, fine sparkle and delicate and thick head. Pleasant mixture of the aroma of hops and a slight hint of liquorice. Pronounced bitterness, mellow and thirst-quenching.

Pours clear golden with a giant, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is pleasantly spicy, light caramel and some apple notes. Fine, balanced mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, good caramel, light yeast and a good mix of spices. Some apple notes again. Very drinkable.

Kolor: bursztynowy, solidnie zamglony.
Piana: obfita, drobnopęcherzykowa, zwarta, w miarę wolno opada.
Zapach: średnio intensywny, dominują ciemne owoce, trochę suszonych owoców, lekko słodowy, karmelowy, melanoidynowy.
Smak: średnia pełnia, jak w aromacie nuty ciemnych owoców, nut słodowych, melanoidynowych, lekko opiekanych, karmelowych, średnia goryczka.
Wysycenie: w kierunku wysokiego.

Medium offwhite head, decent lacing. Aroma: phenolic spice, orange zest, caramel, malt, grapefruit, cardboard. Taste: perfect balance of light bitterness, light sweetness and light sourness; finish is slightly more bitter. Nice palate: somrwhat creamy and round, nice carbonation, very drinkable. Overall very drinkable, but aroma is disappointing.

Gusher. Amber caramel malts, cookie dough, fatty sweetness, cereal and some marmelade. Typical Belgian yeast, not too filtered. Light bitterness but also a relatively light bubble for the style so it;s fairly balanced. Main issue is that it falls a bit in nomansland when it comes to the style. I like amber beers, but it’s a bit too liquorice and cloying for its own good. (33cl bottle from Dekoninck)

33cl, BH Sortimentserkundung, shared sample. - Bref: Walloon spéciale belge of sorts, typically substituting subtle caramalt aromatics for spice & more spice. - Fizzy amber-breadbrown pour, generous fizzy foam. Bread crust, yeast bitters and pepper reinforce, then cancel each other out: wet grasses, dried straw and dry hop bitters merge into a bit of a harsher palate attack than is usual for the malt-forward style. Added spice?

Bronze, clear, yellow foam. Sweet, honey spice on the aroma. Sweet, malt with sweet fruity aftertaste.
