rauchbier (2860), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England Jan 4, 2008 Bottle, at a vaguely Greek bar close to Brussels Nord, March 2006. Hazy gold, good white head and moderate condition. Pleasantly sweet and chalky aromas with hints of yeast and spicy hops, soft and chalky in the mouth with sweet yeast but reduced hop notes affecting the balance, gentle lingering yeastiness in the finish.
BoBoChamp (255), Gent, Belgium Jul 21, 2008 33cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, easy to drink, not complex, clear, good head, nice brew EFC1878 (37), Manchester, England Jul 16, 2008 Bottle conditioned. Beautiful gold colour with pure white head that quickly dissipated to a thin layer. Mainly malt aroma with hints of apple, citrus and faint vanilla. More fruit on the tongue with citrus predominating. Initially crisp on the palate but leaves a pleasant smoothness in the finish. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend over-chilling this as it loses a lot of its character. Dangerously drinkable at 6.3%, I was impressed and will purchase again. wyzzywyz22 (243), Wirral, Merseyside, England Jul 4, 2008 Bottle, Tesco. Poured a golden colour with a white head which vanished to nothing. Sweet malty aroma. Flavour similar. Vague hops present. Pretty unspectacular, but drinkable. azlondon (461), Greater London, England Jul 1, 2008 Appearance: Golden, slightly hazy. Little bit of fizzy head. More when warmer.
Aroma: Wheat and herbs. Bit of fruit.
Taste: Hops and herbs. Slightly bitter finish.

Pours deep, clear golden with a big, frothy white head. roma is malty, light yeast with some apple notes. Fine, creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is soft, quite a yeat presence. Fine balance and very drinkable.
